NVIDIA is introducing a new professional certification program in generative AI to help developers establish their technical credibility in this important field. Generative AI is transforming industries globally, but there is a significant skills gap that needs to be addressed in order to fully leverage the technology. This new certification from NVIDIA allows developers, career professionals, and others to validate and demonstrate their skills and expertise in generative AI. The program offers two associate-level certifications focusing on proficiency in large language models and multimodal workflow skills.
"Generative AI has become a focal point as governments, industries, and organizations worldwide seek to harness its transformative capabilities," said NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang. The certification will be available starting at GTC, where attendees can access recommended training to prepare for the certification exam. Greg Estes, VP of developer programs at NVIDIA, emphasized the importance of organizations increasing their expertise in generative AI to stay competitive in the market.
GTC 2024, taking place from March 18-21 in San Jose, California, will be the first in-person GTC event in five years. Over 300,000 people are expected to attend either in person or virtually, with 900 sessions and 300 exhibitors showcasing how NVIDIA platforms are driving industry advancements. Attendees can participate in 20 full-day technical workshops, with virtual sessions available in EMEA and APAC time zones. Additionally, there is a GTC Conference + Training package offering over 40 complimentary onsite training labs.
