ECS Launches LIVA Z11 PLUS Mini PC Series with Intel Core Ultra and Advanced AI Capabilities

ECS has officially unveiled the LIVA Z11 PLUS mini PC series, following its initial showcase at Computex. Designed for both industrial and consumer applications, the LIVA Z11 PLUS stands out as a highly compact system, measuring just 114.4 x 114.4 x 54.5 mm and occupying only 0.71 liters of space. Despite its small footprint, this mini PC delivers impressive performance powered by Intel’s latest Core Ultra processors from both Series 1 and Series 2.

Powerful Intel Core Ultra Processors and AI Performance

The LIVA Z11 PLUS supports a range of Intel Core Ultra CPUs, including the Core Ultra 7 255H, Core Ultra 5 225H, Core Ultra 7 155H, and Core Ultra 5 125H. These processors are equipped with integrated Neural Processing Units (NPUs), enabling up to 96 TOPS of AI compute performance. Combined with Intel Arc graphics, the Z11 PLUS is well-suited for AI-driven workloads, edge computing, and even light gaming.

High-Speed Memory and Flexible Storage Options

Memory support is robust, with up to 96 GB of dual-channel DDR5 RAM. Series 1 CPUs operate at 5600 MHz, while Series 2 CPUs can reach speeds up to 6400 MHz. For storage, the system features two M.2 slots compatible with PCIe Gen 4 x4 NVMe SSDs, supporting both 2280 and 2242 form factors. This ensures fast data access and ample storage expansion for demanding applications.

Versatile Connectivity and Multi-Display Support

The LIVA Z11 PLUS offers extensive connectivity options. It supports four simultaneous 4K displays via two HDMI ports and two USB4 (40 Gbps) Type-C ports with DisplayPort Alt Mode. Networking is equally advanced, featuring dual Ethernet ports (2.5 GbE and Gigabit) and support for M.2 2230 wireless modules with speeds up to 3 Gbps.

The front panel includes one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and a legacy USB 2.0 port. On the rear, users will find two USB4 40 Gbps Type-C ports and two additional USB 2.0 ports, providing ample options for peripherals and high-speed data transfer.

Efficient Power Delivery and Market Positioning

The system is powered by a 12 V/120 W external power supply, ensuring efficient operation in a compact form factor. While ECS primarily targets industrial and edge computing markets with the LIVA Z11 PLUS, its top-tier configurations are also appealing for consumers seeking a powerful, space-saving mini PC for everyday productivity and light gaming.

ECS has yet to announce pricing or specific availability details for the LIVA Z11 PLUS series. However, its combination of advanced Intel Core Ultra processors, AI capabilities, and versatile connectivity positions it as a strong contender in the mini PC market.
