Intel's 14th Gen Core i9-14900K and i9-14900KF have gained recognition within the OC community. The highest validated clock speed record now stands at 9048 MHz, achieved by elmor. SkatterBencher holds the record for the highest clock speed reached during a live OC session, at 9.10 GHz. These records were set using the latest Intel Z790 chipset motherboard models, specifically designed for the 14th Gen processors. Both overclockers utilized a core voltage of 1.360 V and employed extreme cooling methods. SkatterBencher used liquid helium to cool the processor during their OC attempt, resulting in the impressive 9100 MHz frequency. However, this speed has yet to be officially validated by CPUID, as they are currently working on improving the validation process of CPU-Z to prevent artificially inflated clock speeds. Hopefully, the 9.10 GHz record will be validated soon. In the meantime, elmor holds the top spot on the leaderboard with their 9048 MHz achievement!
