SilverStone has released an updated version of its 2050 Watt HELA 2050 power supply, called the HELA 2050R. This power supply is designed for those who require a high-power solution for their PCs. It boasts a power density of 882 Watts per liter and delivers 170 Ampere on its 12 V rail. The HELA 2050R is compact, measuring only 180 mm deep. It features a pair of 12VHPWR connectors, one modular cable with two GPU connectors, and another modular cable with a single GPU connector.

In addition to the 12VHPWR connector, the HELA 2050R also includes three standard 6+2 GPU connectors, allowing for up to 14 GPU connectors. It supports up to 12 SATA drives, three Molex connectors, one floppy drive type connector, and the standard ATX and EPS power connectors. It's important to note that the HELA 2050R requires a 200-240 Volt input, as a standard 115 Volt outlet would limit its power to 1650 Watt.

Pricing details for the HELA 2050R have not been announced yet. However, considering that the HELA 2050 is currently priced at over US$500, it is expected that the 2050R will be similarly priced.
